Genesis 6-9
God instructed Noah to build an ark, and to
gather his family and two of every animal into the ark so that they
would be saved from the flood. After 40 days of rain and several
months of receding flood waters, Noah and his family left the ark,
built an alter to the Lord, settled on dry land and planted a vineyard.
Noah became drunk one day, and his son Ham found him lying naked in his
tent. He told his brothers Shem and Japheth, and they covered their
father and exited his tent facing away from him. Noah cursed Ham and
blessed Shem and Japheth. |
