This painting is based on a photo taken by my dear Lou at her apartment in San Francisco, December 2006. At the time, I was working on a drawing (at right) from a photo I had taken of her in Boston, August 2004. Oscar (Lou's cat, sitting in my lap) and I share a birthday. |
