King Solomon and
the Queen of Sheba

1 Kings 10 and 2 Chronicles 9

Upon hearing of King Solomon's great wealth and wisdom, the queen of Sheba travelled to Jerusalem with a large caravan of riches. King Solomon proved to be even wiser and more prosperous than she had heard, and she was overwhelmed by everything she saw at King Solomon's palace. The queen of Sheba gave King Solomon a generous gift of spices, gold and precious stones, and King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba "everything she desired and asked for."
